Dr. Ginny Liwanpo is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years of experience working in the field of Psychology. She maintains a private practice in Newport Beach specializing in individual, child, and family therapy.

Education

Dr. Liwanpo received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California in Santa Barbara, her Master's of Science from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, and her Doctorate of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology, Los Angeles.

Training

Dr. Liwanpo received extensive training from the Central Coast to Southern California during the first decade of her groundwork with community mental health. These include: Parent Support Center in San Luis Obispo Department of Social Services, Santa Anita Family Service, Children's institute International, Enki Health & Research Systems, Inc., and Los Angeles Child Guidance Center. She has also trained in various college campus settings such as Cal Poly State Community Clinic in San Luis Obispo, as well as Whittier College Counseling Center. Dr. Liwanpo is a current member of the Orange County Psychological Association and receives ongoing training with continuing education that every Psychologist undertakes in California. It is her conviction that updating with ongoing training will enhance her skills to better help patients pursue their own growth and development.
