Meet Fezzik, Therapy Dog-in-Training!

Fezzik

Fezzik joined the private practice of Dr. Liwanpo as a Therapy Dog-in-Training in June 2024.

He earned his Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Title Certificate from the American Kennel Club (AKC) with Dr. Liwanpo as his handler. He also passed a certifying test to be registered with Dr. Liwanpo as a Certified Therapy Dog/Handler Team through The Independent Therapy Dogs, Inc.

While Fezzik is a Certified Therapy Dog, he continues to receive ongoing training tailored to supporting patients in a private practice setting, and will occasionally be present in the office as part of his continued education. He will join in as a co-therapist if appropriate for treatment, or as an optional companion during in-person sessions. You may even catch a glimpse of him during a telehealth session!
